Zen Gem: Pool ~ Private Balcony ~ Oceanview

Positive: The location was excellent, walking distance to CBD, waterfront and Stokes Wharf. Negative: A few maintenance issues, the doorlock initially very tight but did loosen. The toilet on 2 occassions didn't stop flushing and the shower door sticks at the bottom. A couple of extra towels would have been nice

We could see both the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Positive: It was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a good collection of cooking equipment and cleaning supplies. In addition there were pamphlets with activity suggestions. Negative: The walk to town included an unexpectedly steep hill which was difficult for us as people in our 70’s which is really more about us than the property.

A lovely place to relax and enjoy everything Darwin has to offer Positive: Lovely spacious apartment, very comfortable with everything that we needed. Negative: Although no fault of the host, it was very windy in Darwin for the whole of our stay, so it was disappointing not to be able to use the balcony as often as we would have liked especially first thing in the morning. Also at night the wind blew through the holes in the metal sun shade over the window making an extremely loud noise inside the apartment - it woke us up quite a few times!! I recorded the noise on my phone!

Great view and location would definitely stay again Positive: Clean comfortable and good location Negative: Wind whistling through the balcony rail. Kept us awake two nights

Good apartment Positive: Clean, good kitchen, large balcony with water views. Short walk centre of town. Parking underneath. Negative: Was a bit hard to find the right building that the apartment was in but eventually sorted it.
